Summer Shore

Shore Houses is a very special Melissa Shirley design. It was great fun to bring this to life with a wide variety of silks (including floss, perle, and Straw Silk), cottons, Painters Thread, silk ribbons and more silk ribbons, a variety of metallics, linen, and lots of beads. There's a lovely element of 3D work for the flowers, including ribbon and stumpwork. Detailed instructions, including photos, are included for these techniques.
